Huntsman Named Supplier of the Year by Avient

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The team at Huntsman Polyurethanes is celebrating after being named Supplier of the Year by Avient Corporation, a global leader in specialized and sustainable material solutions.

The award recognizes Huntsman’s responsiveness throughout the last 12 months and its determination to support Avient, despite the considerable supply challenges that businesses worldwide have been facing in the wake of the pandemic.

Huntsman and Avient (formerly known as PolyOne) have worked together since 2014. As part of a global supply arrangement, Avient utilizes a variety of technologies from Huntsman to produce a range of formulations in several different end markets.

The award was presented to Huntsman at the annual Avient Supplier Summit in Cleveland, Ohio. Speaking at the event, Tom Taylor, Vice President, Global Sourcing and Logistics, thanked Huntsman for its commitment and support. “We were pleased to recognize Huntsman as one of our Suppliers of the Year for their commitment to our company during these unprecedented times, as we serve our customers with unique material formulations,” Mr. Taylor said.
