Huntsman Advanced Materials Showcases Expertise at JEC World 2017

Basel, Switzerland, 9th March 2017 Huntsman Advanced Materials (Switzerland) GmbH (Huntsman), a division of Huntsman Corporation, will be demonstrating its expertise in improving processes, products and performance levels for the assembly of lightweight materials at JEC World 2017.
Under the theme ‘Chemistry for Lightweight’, the company will illustrate its range of high performance solutions powered by ARALDITE® branded resin systems, components and adhesives. By decreasing weight and processing costs, ARALDITE® products can be used in a large spectrum of applications, from structural composite parts of transportation interiors to carbon hybrid composite wheels for automotive, and from mass-production to pultrusion solutions.
Huntsman Advance Materials` “Expertise Gallery” on booth M31 in hall 6 is a collection of products that highlight the significant contribution Huntsman high performance chemistries are making as enablers of lightweight materials. Experts will be available to discuss product specific applications and how the leading solutions can benefit key markets such as automotive, land transportation and aerospace.
Throughout the three-day event, Huntsman will also be sponsoring the Aerospace Planet located on stand S46, hall 6. Designed to demonstrate composites’ key role in end-user innovation in the aeronautical industry, the Planet will exhibit the latest technologies and products available for the market, as well as offer exclusive discussion and networking opportunities.
The Aerospace Planet will also play host to Huntsman conference, Composites in Aerospace Industry – Innovation Nowadays and Trends into the Future (Wednesday 15 March, 9:30am-12:30pm), where visitors will be invited to unearth business-relevant insights into the future of lightweight solutions in aeronautical applications.
